Everyone deserves the chance to play, move, and thrive in their own unique way.
My goal is to make rehabilitation a safe, encouraging, and joyful experience. By turning therapy into play, I help infants and youth discover what their bodies can achieve while fitting each session to their personal idea of fun.
I graduated from the University of British Columbia in 2023 with a Master’s in Physical Therapy. Over the last three years, I have had the privilege of working with infants and youth aged 0–19 at BC Children’s Hospital across acute care and inpatient rehabilitation. Through this role, I gained deep insight into supporting diverse populations, including children living with complex conditions like Cerebral Palsy (CP), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) - this extends to movement, community planning and respiratory therapy as needed. I also have experience working with patients undergoing recovery after complex orthopedic surgeries and traumatic brain injuries in the acute and subacute stages.
To help with these goals, I frequently integrate my personal training in dance, gymnastics, strength training, weight lifting and Pilates into my sessions as I feel these activities lend themselves naturally to pediatric rehabilitation and therapy, allowing me to build creative, dynamic, and effective treatment plans.
I have dedicated the past 12 years of my life across adapted athletics, mentorship, education, and caretaking to working with infants and youth and feel very passionate about the work that is possible with these populations. Outside the clinic, you can find me dancing ballet or ballroom, cooking, or spending time in the garden. I am excited to partner with families to help their children move with confidence and ease.
